3 major changes brought by the land Act No. 4/1999 and the Village Land Act No. 5/1999 are: 

1). The Acts establish Land Court; 

2). The Acts entitle every woman to acquire, hold, use and deal with land like any man, i.e. provide for equal rights between woman and man to acquire, hold, use and deal with land; and 

3). the Act establish categories of land. Act provides expressing involvement of women in settlement of dispute of land.
