Prima facie evidence.

Prima facie evidence refers to evidence that is sufficient to discharge easily evidential burden of proof that may be sufficient to discharged persuasive burden of proof if no evidence is in rebuttal is tendered. It is the evidence of facts that is, of sufficient weight to justify a reasonable inference of it existence but it does not amount to conclusive evidence of that fact. 

Note: Persuasive burden or legal burden is the burden which is carried by the party who as a matter of law will loose the case if he fails to prove the fact in issue
