Locus in quo, status quo, status quo ante.



1). Locus in quo;

Refers to the place in which is the scene of an event, that is the place in which or a place where the alleged transaction took place. In criminal cases it is often referred to as a scene of crime. 

In civil cases relating to immovable properties it is where the immovable property is situated.

2). Status quo;

Means the State in which things are or were. 

3). Status quo ante.

Refers to the state of the things before.
