Is it correct under our law that a wife obliged to maintain her husband.

Normally, the wife is not obliged to maintain her husband except where her husband or formal husband is whole or partially incapacitated from earning a livelihood by reason of mental or physical injury or ill-health. However, the Court is required to have regarded the means of such wife. See Section 115 of the law of Marriage Act, 1971.
